• New Volunteers Join Habitat

Habitat for Humanity Pickens County, Inc. is gearing up to begin building houses in New Hope Acres Subdivision.  Last week HFH-PC held an orientation meeting for new volunteers to review the many areas of volunteer services available, including working on house construction to serving on the board of directors or any 1 of 10 other committees. HFH-PC has many areas of service to match any skill level or interest you might wish to contribute.

With our family selected, construction is expected to begin soon on our first new home in New Hope Acres.

Our mission is seeking to put God’s love into action, by mobilizing volunteers from the churches, businesses, organizations and households of our community, to form a cohesive coalition to fund and build simple, decent affordable housing in partnership with God and God’s people in need.
